Why Did I Choose My Major? : From a ghostbuster to an architect
Hello Ghostbusters, whaddya want? 馃ぃ馃ぃ
Well, this week I have to talk about my major so let's go to the point. I wasn´t really interested in a dream job as a child. My dreams were really surreal, I remember as a child I wanted to be a Ghostbuster. Yeah, you read well, I wanted to be a Ghostbuster and catch ghosts like the guys of the movies with the same name. I began to be interested about to find a real career at 14 years old.
At that age, I was invited to a workshop about architecture for teenagers at the University of Chile. At that moment I decided that I was gonna study Architecture. The combination of art, engineering, and philosophy were the perfect ingredients to get interested in. Honestly, I hadn’t other studies options. I met Architecture and I have stayed on the same path since then.
My experience up until now has had every emotion, from happiness to sadness, and going through stressful situations. While doing projects, you learn that nobody is gonna tell you how to make the thing you imagine. Therefore you have to tolerate frustration, even if it's your own. However, I love the experience involved with design!
JAJA good choice Gabriel, it would be amazing to have a career called Ghostbuster, I would like to study something like that and make it like in the movies. Greetings
